ENROLLMENT PROCESS
Desert Trails Preparatory Academy is a public charter school serving scholars from Transitional Kindergarten to 8th grade. The only major expense to the parents/guardians is the cost of clothing that aligns with the dress code policy which is MANDATORY. Other voluntary expenses that may be requested are for field trips, classroom donations, and extracurricular activities.
With our charter there is no academic requirement for admissions. However, to ensure proper class placement, you will need to provide a copy of your child’s most recent report card, behavior record, and attendance record. Scholars that are currently enrolled shall have first priority for re-enrollment and their siblings shall have preference. Space remaining shall be filled by a lottery drawing that will create a waiting list. Any prospective scholar not enrolled may remain in lottery. Parents of new and returning scholars must fill out a new registration application each year.
